April 20, 2019 the open lecture "Prospects for the development of "green" and traditional economy in the modern world" was held (lecturer Dr. Svetlana Kutsenko, associate Professor of Real Estate Management and Territory Development) as part of the project GRETERE.
The lecture discussed the development of the green economy in the world, in European countries and in Russia, the problems associated with technological restructuring, the energy sector. Political issues related to the development of green economy, green protectionism and investments were also discussed. Examples of the development of the so-called Cyclic economy in European countries and in Russia were presented.
The topic is quite difficult for preuniversity students to understand, however, aroused interest, because the survey showed that environmental problems concern young people in Russia and they are aimed at solving them. They need to be met with system ways and perspectives. It won't be easy, but there is a way up to green world.
