The 2nd year of the GRETERE project implementation has finished. Despite the difficulties associated with COVID-19 this academic year can be considered success.

The online conference “How to make a university green” was organized on June 30, 2020, in partnership with the All-Russian program “Green Universities of Russia” of the ECA Movement with the support of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), in which Associate Professor of the Department of Space Monitoring and Ecology, Director of International Projects, Dr. Galina Kuznetsova, took part as one of the speakers.

On June 18, 2020, with support of the all-Russian program "Green Universities of Russia", the open webinar "Sustainable Development Agenda in HEIs: What, Why and How" took place the online format.

On June 16, 2020, the video forum "University Education for Sustainable Development: European Trends and Russian Reality" was attended by teachers, staff and students of MIIGAiK, IrSTU, NOSU, MIPT, SPbSU,GUAP as well as the head of the program "Green HEIs of Russia".

In the first part of the video forum, the results of the implementation of the international project ERUSMUS+ Jean Monnet Module “Green Terra Development” (GRETERE) in MIIGAiK in 2019 – 2020 was presented. Actually the methodology for developing an professional interdisciplinary module with integrated the principles of sustainable development for the training of undergraduates and bachelors in University education. MIIGAiK teachers participated in the project shared the results of their research and pedagogical observations to forum participants, discussed the results of the project second year and the prospects for its further development.

In the second part of the video forum, the program "Green HEIs of Russia" was presented, which already unites 100 universities and continues to gain energy, as well as successful projects of eco - volunteer centers in Russian universities - IrSTU, NOSU, MIPT, SPbSU, GUAP.

On June 18, 2020 at 18.00, webinar "What is the environmental agenda and why should it be implemented in the educational activities of the University?" 
The event in zoom format will be held jointly with the Association of “green” universities of Russia!

The video forum agenda includes the presentation and discussion of the results of the international project ERUSMUS+ Jean Monnet Module " Green Terra Development: EU policy and practice” (GRETERE) in MIIGAiK in 2019-2020 and prospects for its further development. Teachers will share the results of their research and observations, discuss the results of the second year implementation, and MIIGAiK students will share their impressions.

October 24, 2019 since 10 till 16 in Moscow will be held "Environmental forum of students", organized by the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection of the City of Moscow and the Moscow State University of geodesy and cartography (MIIGAiK).

Students receive professional advice relevant to the formation of popular competencies of the future: cities of the future, the solution of environmental problems, the development of territories.

27 May 2019 the open lecture "Physics of traffic" took place in MIIGAiK for preuniversity students and secondary schools teachers (lecturer Pavel Kuzin, the graduate of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, master student of MARCHI). The principles of traffic management, as well as specific examples of modern transport planning in the cities of Russia and Europe were considered from the point of view of physics laws and mathematics.
